OYC Condemns FG, UK £747m Lagos Two Ports Deal, Demand Dredging of 18 Nautical miles Ose-Akwa Ose-Moto Seaport

*...Declare that the Marginalization of Igbos Legitimizes Nnamdi Kanu's Quest for Biafra Restoration.*

The Ohanaeze Youth Council, the apex sociopolitical youth organization of the Igbo Race Worldwide, under the leadership of Comrade Igboayaka O Igboayaka, has faulted and condemned the deal between the federal government of Nigeria and the United Kingdom to refurbish two ports in Lagos.

In a press statement on 22nd March 2026 presented to pressmen by Comrade Igboayaka O Igboayaka, National President General of Ohanaeze Youth Council OYC, who questioned the tribal marginalization against Ndigbo, Bola Ahmed Tinubu and his wife Oluremi Tinubu witnessed the signing of a £746m agreement for the modernisation of infrastructure at the Apapa and Tin Can Island ports in Lagos at Lancaster House.
Comrade Igboayaka stated that the reported agreement was signed on behalf of Nigeria by the Minister of Finance and Coordinating Minister of the Economy, Wale Edun, and on behalf of the British government by the Parliamentary Under-Secretary of State and UK Minister for Small Business and Economic Transformation, Blair McDougall MP.

Comrade Igboayaka pointed out that the neglected seaports in Igboland, specifically Ose-Akwa Ose-Moto Sea at Ihiala/Oguta, Obeaku Ndoki Sea, Azumini Blue Sea Ukwa-East Abia State, and Ozziza Beach Afikpo Ebonyi State, demonstrate the empirical evidence of the long-standing injustice and marginalization faced by Ndigbo, which has led to the call for Biafra Restoration under the leadership of Mazi Nnamdi Kanu of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB).

Regrettably, the British Government agreed to refurbish two ports in Lagos, specifically Apapa and Tin Can Island standing at 60 nautical miles to Atlantic Ocean, also undermined the dredging of Ose-Akwa Ihiala Anambra Sea and Ose-Moto Oguta Sea in Imo State in 1958, a site boasting a natural harbour depth of 22m and a mere 18 nautical miles from the Atlantic Ocean.

According to Comrade Igboayaka O Igboayaka, the proposed 1958 Oseakwa/Ose-Moto Seaport in Ihiala/Oguta, presently Anambra/Imo State, is situated on the Urashi River, with a natural depth of approximately 72 feet (22 meters) without dredging, but was unfortunately abandoned in 1959 by UAC of the British-led Colonial government due to its location in Igboland, and concentrate on Lagos Apapa Seaport of 60 nautical miles.

"It is documented that in the 18th century, trading and maritime business transportation were conducted at Ose-Akwa Ose-Moto Seaport, Azumini Blue Sea/Obeaku Ndoki Port Ukwa-East, Ozziza Beach Afikpo Port/Calabar Port, Onne and Bonny Port, making Eastern Nigeria the most developing region in Nigeria, with a growth rate surpassing that of Singapore and China between 1953 and 1963" Comrade Igboayaka revealed

*The obvious neglect of infrastructural development, including Seaports, International Airports, and Modern Railways in Igboland, has ignited the call for Biafra Restoration, championed by Mazi Nnamdi Kanu. In the face of this egregious injustice and oppressive marginalization against Ndigbo, nothing can dissuade the new generation of Igbo extraction from pursuing the project of Biafra Restoration, as Comrade Igboayaka has revealed.*

Regrettably, the City Boy Movement and proponents of Tribalistic Bola Ahmed Tinubu's led federal government, including notable figures such as Slave Arthur Eze, Slave Sen. Dave Umahi, Minister of Works, Slave Sen. Orji Uzor Kalu, Slave Obinna Iyiegbu Obi-Cubana, Slave Pascal Okechukwu Cubana Chief-Priest, and other sycophantic Slaves elements from the Southeast, are not present at Lancaster House, UK, to propose or argue for the inclusion of the Southeast in major infrastructural development projects, such as the establishment of  Ose-Akwa Ose-Moto Seaport in Ihiala/Oguta Anambra/Imo

It's imperative that those who advocate for Nigeria's unity first seek justice and equity in the country by backing the Ohanaeze Youth Council's call for the Federal government to initiate the dredging of the 18 nautical miles Ose-Akwa Ose-Moto Seaport in Ihiala/Oguta Imo/Anambra, the most closest to Atlantic Ocean or the dredging of 25/30 nautical Azumini Blue Sea/Obeaku Ndoki Sea at Ukwa-East Abia State, thereby validating the unity of Nigeria proclaimed since 1960, as Comrade Igboayaka has concluded
