Nwifuru's Security Aide Describes Allegation Against Neighborhood As False, Malicious, Unfounded

The special Assistant to the Governor of Ebonyi State on internal security, Capital city, Hon Eze Ikechukwu Panchris (POWER) has reacted to the circulating video on the social media alleging  that members of Ebonyi State Neighborhood watch caused the death of one Mr Ofoke Sunday Donald, Member of Forest Guard, describing the allegation as false, malicious and a calculated attempt to discredit the great work that members of neighborhood watch is doing in the state and pitch them against the public.

In a chat with our security correspondent, Eze, stated that at no time was the neighborhood watch members found within the area of the said accident, and wondered why the neighborhood watch members should be dragged in an issue they know nothing about.

The special Assistant on security noted that preliminary investigation revealed that the man died through accident few weeks ago at Onyikwa axis of Ebonyi Local Government Area. He noted that while trying to

dodge an incoming convey, the deseased  ram into heap of concrete and hit his head on concrete and died instantly.

He symptomatized with the victims family and assured that his office will jointly investigate the incident with other security agencies.

According to Eze, in an effort to verify the authenticity of the circulating video, two persons has been arrested and are helping in unraveling the originator of the video and his intent. 

He called on the general public to disregard such false and malicious video as it is the handiwork of mischief makers and enemies of neighborhood watch members in the state.

Eze assured that members of neighborhood watch will continue to carry out their duties of safeguarding lives and properties of every Ebonyians and called on the public to give them total support and solidarity to deliver on their mandate.

Recall that recently, a video of a man who was laying lifeless was circulated on the social media alleging that the members of neighborhood chased him to death.
