Ikwo North Stakeholders Pass Vote Of Confidence On Lawmaker, Hon. Ifeanyi Nwakpu

Stakeholder and people of Ikwo North State Constituency have passed vote of confidence on the member representing them at the State House of Assembly, Hon. Ifeanyi Nwakpu and also adopted him for re-election in 2027 general election. They made this known at Christmas and New year party organized for the Constituents by the lawmaker in his Ndufu Echara residence on 30th December, 2025.

The Stakeholders drawn from Ekeawoke ward, Ekpelu ward, Alike and Echara communities praised the State lawmaker's superlative performance and stressed on need for him to be given second ticket to continue with his good representation of the people. They also commended Governor Francis Nwifuru who they said have continued to show leadership by example through numerous projects and inclusive leadership which has helped the lawmaker to perform to expectations.

Calling for Hon. Nwakpu's second term in 2027, Hon. James Alaka, Hon. Sam Nwali, Hon. Dave Onuoha, Hon. Celestine Nwali among others held that since it has become a known fact that reward for work well done is more work, the lawmaker should be massively supported for his second term in office.

Earlier in his remarks, Hon. Ifeanyi Nwakpu appreciated the people of Ikwo North Constituency for their all round support, advise and prayers for him and Governor Francis Ogbonna Nwifuru. He said through the Governor's support, the State House of Assembly has remained peaceful, working together with the Governor to achieve the people's charter of needs policies through which he has attracted roads, classroom blocks, solar lights, borehole and welfare packages to different Wards and Constituents. He pledged to continue to deliver on his campaign promises, adding that the State Governor's second term remains sacrosanct.

In appreciation of the Constituents support, Hon. Ifeanyi Nwakpu gifted the people bags of rice, cows and money to celebrate Christmas and New Year.

Other stakeholders present at the Christmas party include Prof. Mike Otuma, Hon. Sunday Nwegbe, Chief Boniface Mgbebu, Sylvester Iboko, Prince Patrick Igwe, Dr. Okata Nwali, DC Coordinators, Party leaders, Ward Councillors, Town Union Presidents, Management Committee members, community leaders among others who unanimously passed vote of confidence on Hon. Ifeanyi Nwakpu and adopted him for second term.
