Rep. Chinedu Ogah Donates ₦1 Million to Support Education, Sports in Ikwo/Ezza South

In a continued effort to promote quality education and youth development, the member representing Ikwo/Ezza-South Federal Constituency, Rt. Hon. (Comrade) Chinedu Ogah, OON, has donated ₦1 million to support educational and extracurricular initiatives in his constituency.

The donation, comprising ₦500,000 for the procurement of sports equipment and another ₦500,000 for school band development, was announced during Ogah’s weekend inspection of ongoing educational projects in the area.

The lawmaker visited three out of 18 classroom blocks currently under construction across local schools, Federal Government Technical College, Amuzu; Central Primary School, Nsokkara; and Community Primary School, Agubia Ikwo.

Ogah, who chairs the House Committee on Reformatory Institutions, said the intervention aligns with the People’s Charter of Needs initiative spearheaded by Ebonyi State Governor, Rt. Hon. Francis Ogbonna Nwifuru.

“Education remains the most powerful tool to secure the future of our children,” he said, encouraging students to remain focused and committed to their studies.

"We must rally behind the current administrations and ensure their reelection in 2027 for the sake of continuity and progress,” he concluded.

He emphasized the significance of sports and school band activities in youth development and pledged continued support for both academic and extracurricular growth.

The lawmaker also commended teachers and school administrators for their commitment and efforts in shaping future leaders.

In his remarks, Ogah praised the developmental strides of both state and federal governments under Governor Nwifuru and President Bola Ahmed Tinubu. He urged constituents to remain united and supportive, calling for continued cooperation to sustain the momentum of development and transformation across Ebonyi State and Nigeria.
