The National Coordinator of the National Solidarity Forum, Hon. Chibueze Nwakpa, has urged members of the group to remain committed to the People's Charter of Needs agenda of Ebonyi State Governor, Rt. Hon. Francis Ogbonna Nwifuru.
Hon. Nwakpa made this call during a courtesy visit to an APC chieftain and former Commissioner for Information and State Orientation, Hon. Dr. Chike Emmanuel Onwe, in Ebonyi State.
He described the People's Charter of Needs as a visionary blueprint that aims to drive sustainable development, reduce poverty, and entrench good governance in the state. Since assuming office, Governor Nwifuru has remained steadfast in fulfilling his campaign promises through the launch of impactful programmes and projects.
The agenda is focused on creating a better and more sustainable environment for all Ebonyians. Its strong emphasis on urban renewal, job creation, agriculture, education, health, infrastructure, and human capital development resonates deeply with the core values of the National Solidarity Forum.
In his remarks, Dr. Chike Emmanuel Onwe commended Governor Nwifuru for his remarkable strides within a short period in office. He encouraged members of the Forum to remain united and unwavering in their support for the administration’s agenda.
“Governor Nwifuru has recorded significant achievements in key sectors like agriculture, infrastructure, education, health, and human capital development,” Dr. Onwe stated. “His re-election in 2027 should be seen as a collective project for all Ebonyians. His leadership has laid a solid foundation for sustainable growth.”
He further pledged to support the Forum in its grassroots mobilization efforts, including assisting members and their families in acquiring Permanent Voter Cards (PVCs) ahead of future elections.
The National Solidarity Forum expressed gratitude to Dr. Onwe for his encouragement and support. The group also reaffirmed its unwavering commitment to the promotion of good governance, accountability, and community-driven development.
“We believe that Governor Nwifuru’s Peoples Charter of Needs agenda is a beacon of hope for the future of Ebonyi State,” said Nweze Emmanuel Victor, Publicity Secretary of the Forum. “We will continue to work tirelessly to ensure its full implementation for the benefit of all citizens.”
