A Frontline youth group in Ikwo, Ikwo Noyo Youth Congress, has endoresed President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Gpvernor Francis Nwifuru for second term in office come 2027 general election in the country.
The group equally extended their endorsement to the member representing Ikwo/Ezza /South Federal Constituency in the Houses of Representatives, Comrade Chinedu Ogah, who is also the chairman, House Committee on reformatory institutions for reelection come 2027 and Chief Stanley Okoro Emegha, the Ebonyi state Chairman of the All progressives Congress APC for second term in the upcoming state Congress of the party.
The group who hinged their endorsement on the sterling performance of the leaders, called on all, to support them to continue to deliver dividends of democracy to the people.
The endorsement was contained in a communique issued at the end of a well attended and expanded meeting of the group held at Ndufu Echara, in Ikwo Local Government Area of Ebonyi State and signed by leaders of the group at local level and leades in the 20 electoral wards in Ikwo.
The Communique reads in full;
A COMMUNIQUE ARISING FROM THE EXPANDED MEETING OF IKWO NOYO YOUTHS CONGRESS HELD ON SATURDAY 25TH OCTOBER, 2025 AT NDUFU ECHARA, IKWO LOCAL GOVERNMENT AREA OF EBONYI STATE.
After a thorough evaluation of the political development in Ebonyi State and Nigeria at large, we hereby resolve as follows:
1. That Ikwo Noyo Youths Congress hereby adopts His Excellency, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR for second term as President Federal Republic of Nigeria because of his infrastructural development which Ikwo Local Government Area is a beneficiary
2. That we throw our weight behind the second term bid of our dear Governor, His Excellency Rt. Hon. Francis Ogbonna Nwifuru. The endorsement of His Excellency, the Governor is because he has justified the mandate given to him through infrastructural development, Politics of inclusiveness, Peace Initiative, Educational Reforms, Healthcare Delivery, Agricultural Revolution, Security of Lives and Property and therefore deserves to be reelected.
3. That we also endorse the reelection of Rt. Hon. Comrade Chinedu Ogah, OON into the Federal House of Representatives. Our decision to endorse Rt. Hon. Ogah is due to his track record especially in the area of provision of infrastructural development, employment opportunities for our teeming Youths, Empowerment of our Youths and Women, Award of Scholarship, payment of WAEC NECO, JAMB and Hospital fees, Solar Streetlight Installation as well as distribution of Agricultural inputs to farmers, among others.
4. That Ikwo Noyo Youths Congress adopts the APC Chairman, Chief Stanley Okoro Emegha for reelection to enable him continue to provide a favourable atmosphere for all party members in the State
