An erudite scholar Professor Benjamin Emeka Utobo has eulogised the executive Governor of Ebonyi State His Excellency, Rt. Hon. Francis Ogbonna Nwifuru as Ebonyi State turns 29 on 1st October, 2025. Speaking to journalists in Abakaliki Ebonyi State Capital, Prof. Emeka Utobo noted that at 29 Governor Nwifuru has fulfilled the dreams of the founding fathers of the state. According the Prof. Utobo, Gov. Nwifuru has performed creditably well adding that the Governor has excelled in leadership. Prof. Emeka Utobo pointed out areas Governor Nwifuru has excelled including infrastructure, education, agriculture, health, manpower and human capital development.
Prof. Emeka Utobo further urged the good people of Ebonyi State to take active part in the ongoing voters registration because their voters card will empower them to bring back Governor Francis Nwifuru as Governor of Ebonyi State in 2027 adding that the performance of the Governor is already campaigning for him. Prof. Utobo also commended the Governor to the peace Ebonyi people are enjoying adding that the Governor has developed tactical security strategies to combat crime especially in hitherto warring areas.
