This was contained in a message of felicitation signed by Barrister Ede Samuel Ede, Chairman Nigerian Bar Association Abakaliki branch.
According to him, the 2025 Oke-Aku celebration also affords the people of Ebonyi Central Senatorial District as a whole and the Ezza Ezekuna people in particular to celebrate the impact of Governor Francis Nwifuru's people Charter of Needs achievements.
The statement reads: "I am thrilled to felicitate his Excellency Prince ( Bldr) Francis Ogbonna Nwifiru the Executive Governor of Ebonyi State, Ebonyians , descendants of Ezekuna and the Nigeria Bar Association of this chapter on this historic event of Okeaku festival.
"It is symbolic to take advantage of the underpinning of this celebration.Okeaku offers a season of new chapter of life, love, reconciliation, and unity of purpose. It is a time we must utilize to chart forward a better socio-cultural and socio-political framework in line with our common realities.
"This current edition indeed , invokes the lofty impacts of his Excellency's people Charter of Needs on Ebonyi Central Senatorial District as a whole and the Ezza Ezekuna people in particular. As we celebrate Okeaku I wish to remind both indigenes and participants of need for a reawakening of our unity of purpose.
"Happy Okeaku to the Governor Ebonyi State. Happy Okeaku to Ebonyians. Happy Okeaku to Eze Ezekuna . Ndi banyi Unu Aboo!!!", he wished Ezza Ezekuna.
