Nwanchor on 9th July 2025, flagged off his team's tour of the different autonomous communities in the State.
The tour was kicked off in Abakaliki Local Government Area. receiving the SA and his team at the Council Headquarters, the Executive Chairman of Abakaliki Local Government Area, Hon. Chief Ebere Nwogba thanked the SA and his team for toeing the footsteps of the Governor who runs open Government and places the citizens welfare in his priority list. He explained that such tour will help government to know basic needs of the people and how government policies affects them at the rural areas.
While officially Flagging off the exercise, the Governor's SA, Hon. Paulinus Maduabuchi Nwanchor said the community by community Engagement tour across all the autonomous Communities in Ebonyi State is been done in collaboration with the leadership of the Association of Ebonyi State Town Union Presidents ( AEBSTUP).
He explained that the tour is aimed at assisting the Governor, His Excellency Rt. Hon. Prince Francis Ogbonna Nwifuru to engage with relevant stakeholders and community leaders in rural areas on ways to prevent security challenges, youths restiveness, and combat declined in attitudinal changes, child servitude, and unethical behavior to cultural values among others.
Hon. Nwanchor enumerated many laudable achievements of Governor Nwifuru's led administration in various communities within two years in office. He also assured the people of his office readiness to engage and partner with various security agencies to ensure crime free society in collaboration with the town union presidents.
The community tour flag off ceremony withnessed the inuaguration of newly consistituted executive of Abakaliki LGA Town Union Presidents and had in attendance all the leaders of Ebonyi State forum of town Union Presidents.
