Ebonyi Community Exonerates Self From Compaign Of Calumny Against Deputy Governor

Enohia Itim Community has denied being behind campaign of calumny against the Deputy Governor of Ebonyi State, Her Excellency, Princess Patricia Onyemaechi Obila

In a statement signed by Mr Collins Azu ,Director, Media and Publicity 

Enohia Itim Town Union, reads in part

"The leadership and good people of Enohia Itim Community, Afikpo, wish to categorically and unequivocally disassociate ourselves, and particularly our respected son, Chief Ibru Ogbonnia Nwachi, from any gang-up, orchestrated blackmail, or campaign of calumny being peddled against the Deputy Governor of Ebonyi State, Her Excellency, Princess Patricia Onyemaechi Obila.

"We have observed with deep concern the activities of some miscreants and overzealous political bandits whose actions do not represent the values, principles, or aspirations of our peace-loving community. 

"These individuals, for reasons best known to them, have taken to social media spreading falsehoods, inciting division, and attempting to malign the image of the Deputy Governor for selfish political gains.

"Let it be known that Chief Ibru Ogbonnia Nwachi, a known advocate for peace, unity, and good governance, has never been part of any plot, meeting, or scheme aimed at undermining or discrediting Her Excellency, Princess Patricia Onyemaechi Obila. 

"Any attempt to associate his name or the collective identity of the Enohia Itim Community with such dishonorable acts is false, malicious, and deeply regrettable.

"We reaffirm our respect and support for the person and office of the Deputy Governor and Her Excellency’s efforts together with Engr Chief Timothy Nwachi, the Chairman of Afikpo Local Government Area towards the growth and development of Ebonyi State as a coworker in the People's Charter of Needs vineyard.

"We also call on security agencies to investigate and bring to book those responsible for spreading divisive propaganda and attempting to sow discord within our polity.

"Enohia Itim Community stands for unity, truth, and progress. 

"We reject any attempt to drag our name into political mudslinging.".
