The Chairman of the All Progressives Congress APC in Ebonyi State, Chief Stanley Okoro Emegha has congratulated the state Governor, Chief Francis Ogbonna Nwifuru for providing the needed leadership that led to the successful conduct of Local Government Chairmanship and Councilorship Primaries ahead of Local Government election in the state.
Emegha, also appreciated the immediate past Governor of the state and minister of works, Engr David Umahi for always availing the with his wealth of experience.
In a statement sent to Ebonyi Times by the state Chairman of the party, equally Commended other party leaders and faithful for their peaceful conduct before, during and after the Primaries and reassured them of the unrelenting efforts of party in giving a level playing field to all members.
His message reads: "On behalf of the State Working Committee, l, Chief Stanley Okoro Emegha, State Chairman of All Progressives Congress (APC), Ebonyi State Chapter, wish to thank most profoundly His Excellency, the Governor of Ebonyi State and Leader of our great party, Rt. Hon. Bldr, Francis Ogbonna Nwifuru for his ingenuity and unwavering commitment towards the enthronement of genuine democracy in the state by promoting the sustenance of putting in place a democratically elected representatives of the people at the Local Government Area levels following the recently concluded peaceful conduct of the APC Chairmanship and Councillorship Primary Elections in the 13 LGAs across the state.
"In the same vein, I can scarcely find enough words to express my sincere appreciation to the immediate past Governor of the state and Minister of Works, Sen. David Nweze Umahi for being there for us at all times and for bringing his wealth of experience to bear on the success of the primaries.
"However, I want to use this medium to also commend most highly Members of the National Assembly of Ebonyi State APC extraction, State Lawmakers and indeed party faithfuls for their sacrifices, comportment and maturity displayed throughout the period of the painstaking exercise which is the reason why no incidence of violence was recorded in all parts of the state.
"Finally, it is heartwarming to note that APC in the state is one large family that is unshakable like the rock of Gibraltar. Therefore, while thanking once again all the political gladiators for their individual and collective roles which made the APC primaries a huge success, I want to assure our teeming supporters that APC in a free and fair election, will certainly win 100% of all the elective positions in the forthcoming Local Government Elections in Ebonyi State.
