"Friday was a black Friday to Ivo people and Ebonyi state at large. I was in Abakaliki for an official duty when I got the news around 10 o'clock in the night and I quickly told the commissioner for local government whom we had meeting with among other people.

"This our king was a very nice man, he was a man with a different, he was an outstanding personality to be reckoned with.

"He was a man that says the truth without minding who is involved, he will look straight at you tell you the right thing at any giving time. He was the secretary of the Traditional rulers in the South

"I don't know what happened, the only thing I know is that they had a communual crisis at Amanaeze and Amaekpu both from Omobo ward.
that had to do with land dispute but the man stood up with me and coordinators we resolved it and the people were happy. The land Issue has lingered for years but I was able to dialogue with people to bring permanent solution. But this one that somebody woke up in the morning and decides to kill a king, when such a thing happens in my place I don't believe the town will remain.

"However, the security agencies are seriously on the matter. You Know that on my assumption of office, the first thing I did was to tackle insecurity in Ivo and fought it to a stand still. But this one I personally, will not leave any stone unturned, we must get to the root of this.
