Gov. Nwifuru Lauds Display Of Maturity, Unity Of Ikwo People

Governor  Francis Ogbonnaya Nwifuru of Ebonyi State has again applauded the display of maturity, unity and pacesetting roles exhibited by Ikwo  Stakeholders in aligning with his plea to allow the current Chairman of the council, Barr Sunday Nwankwo go for second term in the July 20th Local Government election in the state. 


The Governor gave the commendation in a meeting with Stakeholders of Ikwo Noyo Clan held on Monday 20th May, 2024 at Re-Meritona Hotels, Abakaliki. 

The Governor who was excited over the solidarity to his administration, maturity in handling issues and unity of purpose among Ikwo Stakeholders, noted that he holds them in high esteem and called on them to sustain the peace already existing in Ikwo Noyo Clan.

The Governor's address was positively followed by enthusiastic congratulations directed at Hon. Barr. Sunday Basil Nwankwo, solidifying the success of the meeting and unity among attendees.

The meeting, marked by joy and euphoria, saw the Governor inquire about any issues with the Ikwo LGA chairmanship election. Ambassador Frankline Ogbuewu, on behalf of the stakeholders, affirmed their complete support for the Council Chairman and assured him of greater support from Ikwo Noyo clan.
