The Senatorial candidate for Labour party in the 2023 general election and two term Chairman of Ebonyi Local Government Area, Hon. Barr. Anselm Enigwe has officially joined the All Progressives Congress (APC)in Ebonyi State.
He was received by his Echi-Aba Ward Chairman, Hon. Nwofoke Amobi at a defection rally which took place at the defector's home.
Hon. Enigwe remarked that the sterling performance of Governor Francis Ogbonna Nwifuru has crippled opposition in the state as they have virtually nothing to oppose in his policy direction.
"His Excellency, Right Honourable Builder Francis Ogbonna Nwifuru through his 'People's Charter of Needs' agenda has brought transformation to the state. He has done exceptionally well and deserves our collective support and admiration.
Opposing him or his policy direction in any form is tantamount to wasting of time and energy. The only available option is to support him to do even more", Hon. Enigwe said.
Present at the event were the Honourable Commissioner of Youths and Sports Development, Hon. Richard Idike, Special Assistant to the Governor on Airport Security, Hon. Nnanna Nwangele, former Chairman Afikpo Local Government Area, High Chief Ogbonnaya Oko Enyim, Former Coordinator Amasiri Development Center and Former S.A to the Governor on Solid Minerals, Hon. Mrs. Ezeugo Ngozi-Chika among other personalities and leaders of the party.
