The chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Ebonyi State, Chief Stanley Okoro Emegha said, his utmost desire is to bring everyone into the fold of the All Progressives Congress APC.
Chief argued that bring everyone together into the party will ensure stability in governance and eliminate unnecessary distraction and bickering from the opposition elements, stressing that such development will help the state Governor, Chief Francis Ogbonna Nwifuru to concentrate on the delivery of dividends of democracy to the good people of the state.
Chief Emegha revealed this recently, while receiving defectors from the opposition people's Democratic party PDP into the fold of the All Progressives Congress APC, in his office, International conference çenter, Abakaliki, the state capital.
Emegha enjoined members of his party not to restrict any one from joining the party as the party is large enough to accommodate all.
The party Boss enjoined the defectors to always be free at all times to make valid contributions for the overall development of the state, assuring them of equal treatment and opportunity in the party.
While reiterating that the party respects the principle of fair play, the APC boss poured encomium on the State Governor, Chief Francis Ogbonna Nwifuru for running an all inclusive government which has improved the living standard of the people and as well brought stability into the party.
He further noted that the Governor's style of democratic leadership has not only given the people a huge sense of belonging but brought many who hitherto did not share in the ideology of political unity for a rapid and sustainable development which is currently, the order of the day in the state.
Earlier, the defector, Dr Obinna Nwachukwu, PDP House of Representatives Candidate for Ezza North/Ishielu Federal Constituency in the 2023 general election, said that he was moved to denounce PDP in favour of the ruling APC because the governor has done exceptionally, in less than one year on the saddle.
Nwachukwu, who joined the APC with thousands of supporters and Loyalists, called on every right thinking Ebonyian to join APC in order to support the good works of Governor Nwifuru in moving the state forward.
