Imo Guber Polls: S'East AGF Boss Tasks Members To Deliver Uzodimma

Ahead of the Imo governorship election holding on Saturday 11th November 2023, the South East Director of Asiwaju Grassroots Foundation, AGF Project Beyond 2023, Comrade Marcelo Nwaji Anyigor has charged the state members of the organisation to employ every legitimate means to ensure a landslide victory of Governor Hope Uzodimma for his second term in his present office.

Anyigor, an All Progressives Congress Aspirant for Ebonyi South Senatorial District who gave the charge on Thursday, said, Uzodimma's impending victory for his second tenure means a lot to the development of Southeast and Nigeria at large.

The South East AGF Boss cautioned the Imo electorate not to compromise on what he termed the deceptive political promises of the opposition parties in the state, but should massively throw their weight behind their incumbent governor to continue bringing the dividends of democracy to them and the region at large to emerge victorious at polls.

According to him, allowing the opposition to bargain for the seat of the sitting governor is not only deceptive but a calculated effort to displace the Imo state from national politics.

He further urged the AGF members in the state to come out massively to cast their votes for the APC and ensure that no polling unit is left for the opposition parties in any part of the state.

He recalled the effort of the AGF was in line with the APC in the last concluded general elections for the successful election of APC candidates and maintained that a right-thinking electorate would not waste his or her vote for another party rather than the APC which has shown the capacity to emancipate the country.

He pointed out that "Nigeria is currently facing economic hardship because of the PDP leadership which shrivelled the treasury of the nation, abandoning the citizens in a trial with starvation till our APC government came for recovery and restoration of the lost hope."
