Ebonyi south senatorial Aspirant on the platform of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Comrade Marcelo Nwaji Anyigor has congratulated Ebonyi State governor, Rt Hon. Francis Ogbonna Nwifuru on his legal victory at the appeal court.
Recall that the appeal court sitting in Lagos, on Friday affirmed the election of governor Francis Ogbonna Nwifuru of the All Progressives Congress (APC) as the duly elected governor of Ebonyi State on the match 18 governorship poll.
The Appellate Court in its unanimous decision had dismissed issues raised by Dr Ifeanyi Chukwuma Odii of the People's Democratic Party (PDP), and Professor Bernard Ifeanyi Odo of the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) against Nwifuru for lack of merit.
Anyigor, while reacting in a congratulatory message described the victory as a testament to the resounding mandate that the people of Ebonyi State have bestowed upon Governor Nwifuru to be their leader.
"His Excellency, Governor Francis Ogbonna Nwifuru's vision, integrity, and passion for the wellbeing of the people will undoubtedly guide him in making impactful decisions and implementing positive changes.
"The appeal court judgment has not only reaffirmed the trust and confidence that the people of Ebonyi State have in his leadership but also validates the overwhelming support and belief they have in the governor’s abilities to steer the state towards progress and development," he said.
He noted that the victory would serve as a testament to Governor Nwifuru's relentless efforts in serving the people of Ebonyi State and ensuring their voices are heard and represented.
"We are confident that under his leadership, Ebonyi State will continue to experience tremendous growth and prosperity.
“Governor Nwifuru's vision, integrity, and passion for the well-being of the people will undoubtedly guide him in making impactful decisions and implementing positive changes.
