Ebonyi State Commissioner for Local Government and Chieftency Matters, Hon Stephen Uchenna Igwe has joined other well meaning Ebonyians to praise the courage, determination and perseverance of Ebonyi State born entertainer, Mr Chukwuemeka Nwota popularly known as MC Walter for achieving the feat of 130-hours Marathon-Entertainment in the World Guinness Book of Record.
Hon. Igwe while congratulating the record breaker said he has demostrated the true spirit of Ebonyi man who out of resilience achieves the impossible in the eyes of many. He commended MC Walter for making Ebonyi State proud through focused hardwork.
Commissioner Igwe noted that the exploit and success achieved by the entertainer is a moral boaster to other youths that they can achieve anything praise worthy if they are truly determined to do it without looking at the challenges of getting to their zenith.
"My family and the Ministry of Local Government and Chieftency Matters are happy to identify with this success achieved by this young man who took the bold steps to register his name in gold. He has made Ebonyi State proud and has challenged other youths to always channel their energy and talents towards areas that will promote the State and bring Honour to them.
"Let me also thank our dear Governor for providing the peaceful environment for Ebonyi youths to harness their talents. Other youths should toe same line because MC Walter has distinguished himself as a role model to other youths. Once again, I join all Ebonyians to say Congratulations to him".
