Chairman of Ikwo Local Government Area, Hon.(Barr) Sunday Basil Nwankwo says, the state Governor, Rt Hon Francis Ogbonna Nwifuru is committed to rebranding the local Government workforce in the state, urging the staff of Ikwo Local Government to ensure total compliance to the process approved by staff verification committee to ensure hitch free exercise.
Barr. Sunday Nwankwo stated this Wednesday, at Pa Ngele Oruta Township Stadium, Abakaliki during his unscheduled visit to monitor the ongoing Local Government Staff verification.
The Council Boss while addressing the Staff of Ikwo Local Government Council enjoined them to comply with the verification Committee saying; "the Governor of Ebonyi State His Excellency, Rt. Hon. Francis Ogbonna Nwifuru is out to rebrand the workforce of the local government system in the State hence the need for this verification".
Recall that few weeks ago,the Executive Governor of Ebonyi State, His Excellency, Rt. Hon. Francis Ogbonna Nwifuru constituted a Local Government Staff Verification Committee headed by Her Excellency, Chief (Mrs) Catherine Ogbu, to verify staff of local Government Areas in the state.
