Hausa Community, Ezzamgbo Pledges Support For Gov Nwifuru's Administration

Leaders of various carders of Hausa Community, Ezzamgbo Donkey market branch, has pledged their total support for the government of fourth Executive Governor of Ebonyi state, Rt Hon Francis Ogbonna Nwifuru.

 

Speaking to our reporter at Nkwo  donkey market Ezzamgbo, the head of the Hausa community in the area,  Alhaji Abdullahi Oladipo Yinusa  said they are going to redouble their support for the governor especially, in the area of IGR, to help him succeed in office.

 

He recounted the enduring peace that has been existing between them and the host community assuring that such peaceful atmosphere would be sustained and improved upon to guarantee economic growth in the state.

 

He pleaded with the  Governor to provide security for them to complement the one on ground.

 

"We have been living peacefully with our host community and they have been taking care of us. At least we've got our prayer house and our cemetery.

They  always come to our rescue anytime we have problems. We are stakeholders and development partners with Government.

 

"We're going to continue to support the Government of Rt Hon Francis Ogbonna Nwifuru. In terms of Revenue, because without money Government cannot perform, we will continue to cooperate with the revenue collectors.

 

"We urge the governor to provide us with security to complement the one we have here", he pleaded.

 

 

On his part, the leader of Hausa Community, in the area, Alhaji Salisu Yinusa (Spina), attributed the peaceful nature of the market to a peaceful co-existence between the host Community and the Hausa community, assuring that such peaceful atmosphere would be religiously sustained.

 

Alhaji Salisu reiterated that they have been supportive of the past administrations in the area of revenue generation and political activities, assuring the readiness of his people to give maximum Support to the new Government of Rt Hon Francis Ogbonna Nwifuru.

 

He however, pleaded for Government to recognize them as Hausa Community, Ezzamgbo Branch, stressing that the Hausa community in the urban does not carry them along,  even when Government give something, it does not get to them, despite that they outnumbered them in population.

 

 

"This place has remained a peaceful environment because we are living cordially with our host community.

 

"We understand ourselves. When we have issues, we resolve it amicably in house. Like I told you earlier, we do organize novelty March every year between the Hausa community and our host community to promote peace within the community.

"We've been very supportive of the past administrations in terms of Revenue and in political activities, likewise we will still give maximum Support to the new Government. We will give him hundred percent support.

 

"We're business people and we want a peaceful environment to do our business without hindrance. We want the new Government of Rt Hon Francis Ogbonna Nwifuru to recognize us here as Hausa community, Ezzamgbo branch. You know we have Hausa community in the urban. Those urban, when they give something, we don't know and they don't even communicate to us and we even outnumbered them. Everyone should join hands and support this administration to succeed".

 

Others Who spoke to our reporter include the Youth Leader of Hausa Community, Nkwo Ngbo Animal depot, Usman Umar Salisu and Sani Adams Haruna, Coordinator, FON youth movement, in the area, appreciated God for the Victory of APC and the new Governor, Rt Hon Francis Ogbonna Nwifuru, assuring of their support.

 

"We thank almighty Allah, the creator of all living things. We're living here peacefully.

 

"There is no any problem with the host community and Hausa community. And all wish is continued peace in this market and the state, so our Governor, Rt Hon Francis Ogbonna Nwifuru will rule us well. We assure him of peace and harmony in this market".
