Workers Day: Chief Emegha Eulogises Ebonyi Workforce

Chairman of the All Progressives Congress APC in Ebonyi State, Chief Stanley Okoro Emegha has eulogized the enormous contributions of the state workers in the development of the state.

Emegha, in his felicitation message to the workers on this year's May day celebration in the state.

His message reads in part; "May 1st annually is significant because it is Workers' Day. The day also known as International Workers' Day or International Labour Day offers ample opportunity to acknowledge, honour and appreciate the enormous contributions of workers to societal growth and development.

"In the light of this, I sincerely wish to join well meaning individuals, cooperate bodies and the Government to felicitate with Nigerian workers with special reference to the ones I come in contact with on daily basis. 

"You have conscientiously helped to advanced the cause of massive and unprecedented development in diverse spheres of our collective existence. Of a truth, you are at the nucleus of achieving government policies and programs at all times. Most of you do go the extra mile to help deliver on the mandate of leaders. 

"As a leader in my own rank, I wish to eulogize the indelible imprint of workers who are totally committing their intellectual property and/or physical energy to ensure the progress of the society without grudging or displaying discontent of anykind. 

"For workers everywhere, just know that the society holds you at a every high esteem because you are indispensable to societal advancement. 

"As the State Special Security Consultant, I also write to assure every worker in Ebonyi that the security of lives and property is in the first line charge of the government hence it is not negotiable. It is also a fact that Ebonyi State government has zero tolerance to insecurity of anykind. 

"Congratulations as you mark the 2023 workers' day anniversary. Happy celebration, my friends and partners in progress".
