From the cradle, Easter examplifies the ultimate sacrifice made by Jesus Christ to save mankind, therefore, Christians should make sacrifices that will promote good governance and advance the course of development.
The people of Ebonyi State and indeed Nigeria should use the period of Easter as a moment of reflections, sacrifices and greater committment for a more prosperous state and Nation.
It is also pertinent to use the period of Easter to reinforce the bond of brotherhood and dedication in the service of God as demonstrated by Jesus Christ.
As the present administration winds down , I urge Ebonyi people to remain steadfast in prayers for a peaceful transition and a smooth take off of the new administration.
I must use this opportunity to appreciate Governor David Nweze Umahi for his monumental achievements in the last eight years and Ebonyi people for their unflinching support.
