A Socio-Political group on the eagis of 'Igbo Gadi Nma' on Monday tasked Ndigbo to be watchful and observe the current political developments playing out in the country, alleging that Nigeria is currently standing on a time bomb.
The leadership of the said Igbo socio political group made this known in a statement signed and issued to newsmen by the National Secretary, Mazi Ugwoke Emmanuel in Abakaliki, capital of Ebonyi state.
The group, however expressed great worry on the recent political developments in Nigeria and said that the political situation in the country is given a dangerous red signals, especially for Ndigbo.
According to them: We 'Igbo Gadi Nma' advised Ndigbo to be watchful and observe keenly because Nigeria is currently standing on a time bomb. The political developments in Nigeria is given dangerous red signals.
The leadership of 'Igbo Gadi Nma' group, however in a related development, applauded the victory of the Senator-elect, Victor Umeh who was elected on the platform of Labour Party, LP, during the last Presidential and National Assembly general election that took place on February 25th, 2023.
The Senator-elect, Victor Umeh was elected to represent the people of Anambra central senatorial district in the National Assembly.
The group who discribed Umeh as an eloquent and fearless Igbo leader, urged him to continue to speak for Igbo's at the red chamber, especially as it regards the political developments in the country.
They stated further that "Ndigbo are not loosing with the likes of Umeh in the red chamber, igbo voice will be heard and our own will not loose coming from his experience" Igbo Gadi Nma stressed.
