The All Progressives Congress(APC), Ebonyi State Chapter has described Governor David Nweze Umahi has a shining star in Nigeria's political space owing to his unprecedented human and infrastructural landmarks.
The Chairman of APC in Ebonyi State, Chief Stanley Okoro Emegha stated this after Governor Umahi received an award as a Grand Service Star (GSS) from the Rivers State Government in Port Harcourt on Saturday.
The APC Boss, Chief Emegha said although the Governor has so much been decorated with numerous awards but the most recent coming from the opposition People's Democratic Party (PDP) is an affirmation that APC has delivered on good governance and will win the 2023 general elections convincingly.
Chief Emegha who was among top government functionaries that witnessed the Rivers State Honours Award 2022 expressed joy noting that Governor David Umahi has over the years carved out a place of honour and distinction for himself through a sheer hard work and selfless service to his people and entire human race.
He however, called on Ebonyi electorate to cast their ballots massively for APC Governorship candidate, Chief Francis Ogbonna Nwifuru and other candidates of the party for sustainable economic growth and development in Ebonyi State.
"In the history of leadership in Nigeria and even beyond, have you ever seen a Governor who created a global roadmap like His Excellency Chief Engr David Nweze Umahi?
"He constructed a world class Medical Science University, David Nweze Umahi Federal University Health Sciences, Uburu to end medical tourism in Nigeria which is a major contributory factor to the nation's capital flight for decades now.
"The construction of numerous projects such as the International Airport, International Market, a world class new government house, shopping mall and Christian Ecumenical center. Others including over 15 flyovers, concrete roads, bridges, street lights despite the lean resources that comes to the state from the Federal Government. Are these projects not unimaginable?
"My Boss and our transformational Governor has indeed lifted the people from the dungeon of poverty and backwardness and placed them on a padestal of prosperity. I am very much sure that posterity will always remember his foot prints and reciprocate his magnanimity even to his fourth generation. We are proud of your sterling achievements sir".
"If Governor Umahi can bequeath the people with so much of these developmental indices, then the incoming Right Honourable Chief Francis Nwifuru who is well schooled in governance too will do more for Ebonyi people. Let's support a greater Ebonyi State by voting Nwifuru".
"Again our Presidential candidate Bola Ahmed Tinubu, Governor David Umahi who is a Senatorial candidate among others will all cruise to victory. Our Governor has set the developmental pace for leaders in Nigeria and even beyond to follow".
