2023: Ebonyi APC Meets Political Support Groups

APC Chairman, Chief Stanley Okoro Emegha has charged the various support groups in the state to galvanized their members to work hard in their various wards and polling units in ensuring Landslide Victory for APC in the forthcoming general election.

Chief Emegha stated this on Thursday, during a meeting with all the registered political support groups domiciled with the APC in the state.

He emphasized that the essence of the meeting was to interact with the support groups on the way forward in achieving victory for APC at all levels. He urged them to go down to the grass root and convanss votes for APC and its candidates.
Emegha, who was represented by zonal Chairman, South, Hon. Ernest Nwaze, enjoined the leadership of the various support groups to put on their thinking caps and device a means of reaching out to the voters in the state.

Earlier, the organizer of the group and the state APC youth leader, Comrade Aloh Ogbonnaya Prince said, his office registered the over one hundred and fifty (150) support groups to boost the party's voting strength in the forthcoming general election and urged the leaders of the groups not to disappoint the party but should rather work hard for the victory of the party in the state, stressing that the party will surely reward hard work.
He told them that Governor David Umahi has been magnanimous to the youths by bringing one of them, in the person of Rt Hon Francis Ogbonna Nwifuru as his successor and tasked them to work hard to ensure that he emerges victorious as the youths has a lot to gain with Nwifuru as the state Governor.
He emphasized that the party is mainly concerned with Support Groups and not NGOs, stressing that NGOs are registered none governmental organization which ought not to partisan in practice.
Party Excos in the meeting include zonal Chairman, Ebonyi Central, Hon. Peter Nworie, his Northern counterpart, John Nwankata; the state Assistant Youth Leader, Comr Nnamdi Chukwwu among others.
