The 2023 Divine Mandate Campaign Council, Afikpo North LGA Chapter, on Saturday, met at the Council Hall to step up actions and adopt appropriate strategies that would ensure overwhelming victory for all Candidates of APC in the 2023 General Elections.
The Campaign Council which is composed of notable political strategists has the former Speaker of Ebonyi State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Chief Christopher Omo Isu as Chairman and the Executive Chairman of Afikpo North Local Government Area,Hon Uchenna Nnajiofor Ibiam as Deputy Chairman.
The Director General of Ebonyi Broadcasting Cooperation EBBC and Chairman, Forum of Leaders of Afikpo North LGA, Engr. Timothy Nwachi as the Director General of the Campaign Council; Member III, Secondary Education Board, Chief Donatus Ezeogo Aja is the Secretary, while Comrade Innocent Ezeali Oka is the Treasurer of the Campaign Council.
Welcoming members of the Campaign Council to the maiden meeting, Rt. Hon Christopher Omo Isu expressed confidence that with the calibre of competent people in the Campaign Council, overwhelming victory for APC is assured.
He implored all Progressives in Afikpo to work as a team to ensure victory for Gov. David Nweze Umahi for Senate; Rt Hon Francis Ogbonna Nwifuru/Princess Patricia Obila for Governor; Barr Eni Uduma Chima for House of Reps and Rt Hon. Kingsley Ogbonnia Ikoro and Chief Oluchukwu Ukie Ezeali for Afikpo North West and Afikpo North East State House of Assembly Seats respectively.
In his speech, the Executive Chairman of Afikpo North Local Government Area, Hon Uchenna Nnajiofor Ibiam who doubles as the Deputy Chairman of Divine Mandate Campaign Council, Afikpo North, assured members of the Party of transparency in every transaction of the Party on one hand and the Campaign Council on the other hand.
The Council Boss who assured of landslide victory for APC in the 2023 general elections called for sincerity and unity of purpose from members of the Campaign Council and all members of the Progressive Family.
The Director General of the Campaign Council, Engr. Timothy Nwachi who explained that with the presence of experienced politicians and seasoned technocrats in the Campaign Council, APC in Afikpo North Local Government Area will cruise to victory in the 2023 general elections as all Candidates of the Party would be declared winners.
He advocated for a robust door to door campaign which according to him is the surest and easiest way to reach out to those at the grassroots to seek for their votes.
After various submissions from members of the Campaign Council,a robust and comprehensive Campaign Strategies were developed signalling that APC in Afikpo North Local Government Area is set not only for Campaigns and rallies but for the 2023 General elections.
