The Chairman, All Progressives Congress (APC) Ebonyi State, Chief Stanley Okoro Emegha has noted that his party has the capacity and competence to win the general elections.
Chief Emegha stated this after a stakehlolders engagement involving Non Governmental Organizations (NGOs) under the party among others in Abakakili.
The party chieftain, Emegha interacted with the press:
"Certainly, different strategies will be employed by political parties and their actors to win the contest which will definitely produce winners and losers at the end of the day".
"APC under my watch, will do everything within the Electoral Act and other extent laws to slug it out with them and most importantly emerge as a champion in this race" .
"You know that in every contest, contenders fight to win. APC is not only fighting to win because the party enjoys wide acceptance form the people. We have great dominance and influence everywhere".
You don't win elections with campaign of bitterness, calumny and other forms of violence capable of inciting the public".
"Election, especially in this era is won through a substantial evidence of achievements. The ability to convince the electorate through achieveable promises that will be people's driven must also be put into consideration".
"We have mind-blowing legacies under the administration of Governor David Umah. All we need is an issue based campaign. Our candidates are credible and vendible. They all have track records of excellence in different areas of service to God and humanity".
