2023; Afikpo North Council Hosts Onwa Oferekpe Foundation

The Executive Chairman of Afikpo North Local Government Area, Hon. Uche Ibiam, on Thursday received on a courtesy visit the Leadership of Onwa Oferekpe Foundation, Afikpo North LGA Chapter in his office at Afikpo.

Hon. Uche Ibiam who expressed joy for the visit,  enjoined  them to join hands with him in galvanizing grassroots support for the APC Governorship Candidate,Rt Hon Francis Ogbonna Nwifuru and running mate,Princess Patricia Obila as well as other Candidates of the Ruling Party,APC. 

He noted that as the members of the Foundation  work assiduously to bring victory for the Party in the 2023 General Elections,they should also focus on sensitizing properly the electorates so as to avoid them being deceived  by false narrative from  political propagandists.

Hon. Uche Ibiam applauded Gov. Umahi for joining Ebonyians  to  support Rt Hon. Francis Ogbonna Nwifuru, who is described as the best Governorship  candidate that will  consolidate on the good work of the Divine Mandate Government of Engr. David Nweze Umahi and  called  on the people of the Council Area to massively join in the journey of enthroning the next Government.

He assured the people of Afikpo North Local Government Area that he is always available in his office to attend to them and urged them to feel free to come around for any assistance. 

The Coordinator of Onwa Oferekpe Foundation,Hon. Johnson Akpu Eluu and  his Women's Wing counterpart in the Local Government,Lady Patience Idam, appreciated the Council Chairman for the special reception and attention granted to them.

They said they were at the Office of the Council Boss to congratulate him as a Body on his victory in the just concluded Council polls as well as his  successful swearing-in and assured him of their unflinching support and solidarity to the  realization of his mission and vision for Afikpo North Local Government.

They further explained that the Foundation is out to ensure landslide victory for their Patron,Rt. Hon. Francis Ogbonna Nwifuru and  requested that he should always assist them.

In a vote of thanks, the immediate past Majority leader of Afikpo North Legislative Council, Hon. Immaculate Chinyere Egwu,  appreciated the Council Chairman for the audience and solicited that members of the Foundation in Afikpo  be carried along in the scheme of things.

The Leadership of the  Foundation in attendance  were Hon. Johnson Akpu Eluu; LGA Coordinator, Lady Patience Idam, LGA Women's Wing Co-ordinator and the Twelve(12)  Ward Co-ordinators of Onwa Oferekpe Foundation in the Area.
