The All Progressives Congress APC in Ebonyi State has congratulated Governor David Umahi on his victory at the court of Appeal in Abuja stressing that the judgement was anticipated.
Chief Stanley Okoro Emegha who is the Chairman of the party in state revealed this shortly after the court dismissed the suit challenging Governor Umahi's candidature for the Ebonyi South Senatorial District in the 2023 general elections.
"We are not surprised at Umahi's victory bcause we knew that the enemies of the state colluded to distract him and not that they have good case".
" We never entertained any fear about Governor David Umahi's Senatorial Candidacy. He worked for it and he deserves the victory. The people are happy."
"We celebrate the Court for upholding justice and the people for being so resolute. In short, his journey to the Senate is God's plan and we are grateful".
