Umahi At 59; Igwe, Nwifuru, Emegha, Orji Kalu Others Pour Encomium

Encomium has continued pour in as Ebonyi State Governor, Engr David Umahi turned 59, this Monday, 25th July 2022.

The Deputy Governor, Dr Eric Kelechi Igwe in his message of felicitation wrote;
"I am most delighted to on behalf of my family especially my wife Nnenna, felicitate with our ebullient  Leader and Governor ,His Excellency Engr David Nweze Umahi FNSE, FNATE on the occasion of his 59th birthday anniversary.

"Your Excellency, while we celebrate and reflect on the goodness and kindness of God on you today, it is also a time  that Calls for introspection on your stewardship to public service. You have been steadfast in defending the gains of our successful struggle to  attain greatness in Nigeria , thereby paving the way for the socio economic and political development of our beloved state . Worthy of note Sir, is the immense contribution you have made towards economically empowering the people through Economic Empowerment Pogramme.

"We must continually value  your courage in your dogged efforts to making sure that Ebonyi State becomes one of  the developed States in Nigeria and continue to have Global recognition with  available lean resources in the State.

"We will continue to support you with every sinew in our body in your quest to give Ebonyi a perfect touch".

The speaker of the state House of Assembly and the gubernatorial candidate of APC in the state, Rt Hon Francis Ogbonna Nwifuru on his part wrote;

"It is your fifty-ninth birthday circle today, Your Excellency, Engr. Chief David Nweze Umahi (FNSE, FNATE) - Governor of Ebonyi State. On behalf of my dearest family, floor functionaries, honourable members, staff of Ebonyi State House of Assembly and the entire people of Izzi West State Constituency, I celebrate and congratulate you very highly, on this beautiful occasion. 

"The finest of steels undergoes sizzling heating and melting, forming therefore, an admirable object, a wonderful work of art, a proper mould, solid metal, a sparkler of legendary status. I have no single doubt, that at the time of Creation, God Almighty shaped you just like the steel, to become the finest of men, and commissioned you for greatness in the world, but firstly, in Ebonyi State. 

"Hence, your introduction into the leadership scheme of Ebonyi State, has been nothing short of unrivalled greatness. Without much fuss, you applied your legendary persona, of the finest steel and prowess, in growing the State, from a certain matter of neglect to a reference manual for excellence. 

"We are proud to continue enjoying, experiencing, and witnessing the utter magic which you’ve brought to bear in handling the wholistic development of Ebonyi State, seven years now and counting. Of a truth, it is not a day to invite the enumeration of your wonderful strides in black and white. But suffice to say, that as uncountable and unimaginable as they are, those big feats are the reasons why Ebonyi is now beautifully engraved in the scheme of national affairs. 

"For all you are and have continued to be for us, Your Excellency, we celebrate and thank you, today, as you mark your fifty-ninth birthday. We have no iota of doubt that posterity will be massively kind to you. Our collective prayer is that God Almighty will continue to renew your strength of mind, body and keep you steadily in His love.

"You have demonstrated an uncommon leadership skills, you are indeed a true patriot, an embodiment of love and unity.

"May the good Lord continue to keep you in good health, endow you with more wisdom and grace to carry on your good work to humanity". 

On his part, Senator Orji Uzor Kalu
Chief Whip of the Senate
Federal Republic of Nigeria, also felicitated with him.

"As he celebrates his 59th birthday today, on behalf of the people of Abia North senatorial district, my family and I wish my brother, the Governor of Ebonyi State and Chairman of South-East Governors' Forum, H.E. David Nweze Umahi a happy birthday".

The Commissioner for information and State orientation, Barr Uchenna Orji, in his message described him as an extra- ordinary leader.
He wrote;

"The Ministry of information and State Orientation  is pleased to felicitate with the extra- ordinary leader of our generation, His Excellency, Engr Chief David Nweze Umahi FNSE FNATE (Akubaraoha)* Governor of Ebonyi State and Chairman South East Governors Forum on this auspicious moment of his 59th birthday this 25th July,2022.


"Your Excellency, we thank God Almighty for the blessings of rich accomplishments of age and the grace of rare transformational foresight which are the manifestations of your service to humanity.

"We feel deeply enthused sharing the joy of this remarkable  graceful age. We honour Your Excellency for your historic accomplishments as Governor of Ebonyi State. You have brought glory, dignity and honour to Ebonyi State through 
massive infrastructural and human capital development and through your contributions to national development. Your  good heart and spirit of  nationalism is  treasured across the nation.
