It was an exciting moment at Christ Ascension Church, Amangwu Edda in Afikpo South Local Government Area of Ebonyi State as the Chairman of the All Progressives Congress APC, in the State, Chief Stanley Okoro Emegha, on Sunday celebrated the 2022 Democracy with the church.
Chief Emegha while acknowledging the support and prayers of the church said, "I want to thank you for your prayers. Your prayers are working. You're not the others and that is why I will continue to support whatever you are doing. I will give you one million naira within the week. Use it to fix the ceiling and other things in the church. I will also bring a set of musical instrument to you. I urge you to Continue to pray for us", he concluded.
The pastor in charge of the Church, prayed for him and those contesting for elections that accompaned him to the service. The jubilant man of God promised that the church will continue to pray and stand with his Leadership, assuring him that God will grant electoral Victory to all those that came with him to the church.
In a similar vein, Chief Stanley Okoro Emegha used the day to pay courtesy visit some notable stakeholders in the council Area, urging them to synergize with his party for a landslide victory in the state. He added that the APC remains formidable and no other party can match it come 2023.
The state APC chairman called on the youths to be weary of the antics of some politicians in the area who may want to use them as instrument of violence, warning that the State will not spare any violent activities from any quarter no matter how highly placed the perpetrators are.
Chief Emegha however, used the opportunity and called on those who are yet to register for their permanently voters cards to do so without delay.
Emegha lauded the tenacity and steadfast, and positive contributions of some party men and loyalists in the area, assuring them that, their efforts will never go unrewarded.
Chief Emegha was accompanied to the visit by some party stalwarts, candidates and aspirant. Support groups, youths and women group among others were all on ground to welcome the chairman and his entourage in all the places visited.
