Ebonyi state Government have announced the award of scholarship in six department to students of King David University of medical sciences Uburu, in Ohaozara Local Government Area.
Commissioner for health, Dr Daniel Umezurike stated this on Thursday, while briefing journalist after Executive Council meeting at the EXCO chamber new Government House Abakaliki.
Dr Umezurike told journalist that State Government awarded scholarship to students of King David University medical sciences in six department which includes medicine and surgery, pharmacy, nursing silences, medical lab sciences uptimatary and dentists.
Umezurike also said that this is second year of the scholarship scheme which Government is doing to promote Education in the state and so many students have benefited from the scheme even beyond ebonyi state.
The commissioner apulouded the Governor for given the scholarship not only Ebonyians but to others across Nigeria.
