Preparatory to the commencement of the official Oath taking ceremony scheduled for today at the Anambra government House, Awka, the Governor-elect, Prof. Chukwuma Soludo, his wife and other dignitaries have arrived venue of the event amidst tight security.
The stage is set as selected dignitaries arrive for the inauguration ceremony of the new government in Anambra State.
It is historic as Professor Chukwuma Soludo takes over the mantle of leadership from Chief Willie Obiano, who bowed out midnight after serving out his two terms, totalling eight years in office.
As of now, some dignitaries have started arriving at the low-key event, taking place at Anambra State’s Government House, Awka.
Dignitaries already present include the Governor-Elect Professor Chukwuma Charles Soludo, the Deputy Governor-Elect Dr Onyekachukwu Ibezim, the Chief Judge of Anambra State, Honourable Justice Onochie Anyachebelu, The National Chairman of APGA, Chief Victor Oye, the Former National Chairman of APGA, Senator Victor Umeh, the Wife of the former leader of Igbo nation, Iyom Bianca Ojukwu, The Speaker Anambra State House of Assembly, Right Honourable Uche Okafor, Church Leaders of different denominations, among others.
