Party Leaders and faithfuls of the All Progressives Congress (APC), in Ishielu Local Government Area, on Friday, unanimously, reassured their Commitment to the progress and Victory of the party in area come 2023 election.
This reassurance was echoed during the familiarization meeting of the Executives of Ebonyi Central Senatorial zone with the Local Government and Ward leadership of the party held at Ishielu Local Government Headquarters.
In his address of welcome, the APC Chairman, Ishielu Local Government Area, Mr Godwin Abah said, "It is with heartfelt joy and progressive mind that I welcome all party men and women from Ebonyi Central to this epoch making event today.
"On behalf of my executive members and all teaming supporters of APC in Ishielu LGA,I welcome you all to the gateway LGA.
"I am highly elated to have this gathering today because this will unveil us of an opportunity to create strong awareness and further congratulate and appreciate the leader of our great party in the State, Enr. Chief Dave Umahi Nweze, FNSE,FNATE for God's abounding grace and His Excellency's commitment to transform Ebonyi to an enviable height.
His Excellency in less than 8 years in office has transformed Ebonyi from the dust of the nation to the infrastructural giants of the nation. He has brought his enineering expertise to bare in rewriting the history of Ebonyi State. Time and space may fail me if I try to list here his achievements in Ebonyi.
"Furthermore,His Excellency's resolves to build Ebonyi into a united progressive family through the largest party in Africa APC,connecting Ebonyi to the centre is second to none.
Let me use this opportunity to resound His Excellency's resolves to replicate same transformational gesture meted to Ebonyi state in less than 8 years in office to the entire country Nigeria as from May 29, 2023. It is no longer a news that His Excellency has declared his intention to vie for the number one citizen of Nigeria 2023.Our major concern now is to play our key roles ensuring that this dream comes through and that's assured.
"To my amiable boss and game changer, the number one citizen of Ishielu LGA, Hon Henry Sunday Eze who is a unified factor for the progressive family in Ishielu LGA. Hon. Henry has suppased an,unprecedented growth for the good people of Ishielu LGA. Sir,we appreciate your commitments to humanity and to our great party APC. "I won't in a hurry forget to appreciate the workaholic Chairman of Ebonyi State APC Chief Hon.Stanley Okoro Emegha and his Executive meembers whose indifatgable commitment has brought APC to a greater level not just in Ebonyi but entire South Eastern Nigeria.
Sir,we have our unalloyed supports and campaigns rolled out to ensure that victory is assured all round in Ebonyi and by extension Nigeria as a whole.I am here confidently assuring us to Ishielu is 99% APC.
"We have concluded all necessary arrangements for door to door campaigns, polling unit to polling unit meetings,ward to ward campaign tours to ensure that no stone is left unturned.

On his part, the Chairman, Hon. Henry Eze, represented by the Secretary of Council, Mrs Emmanuela Nneka Offia said that the All Progressives Congress, APC have come to stay in the local government as there was no other political party in the area.
She emphasized that Gov Umahi has given the best thing to the state by defecting to APC. She extolled the leadership excellence of the governor across the council area.
She maintained that Governor David Nweze Umahi had shown rare love to the good people of Ishielu LGA through his developmental projects in the area.
Mrs Offia appreciated God for the modest achievements in the Council and said that there's no better alternative to APC in the area as no other party would out perform it in 2023.
She promised to provide every necessary support to the party in all ramifications and commended the zonal Chairman and his team for the visit.
Addressing the party leadership of the Council Area, the Zonal Chairman of All Progressives Congress APC, Ebonyi Central Zone, Hon Peter Nworie said the purpose of the visit was for the zonal officials of the party to familiarized themselves with the local government and ward officials of the party in the zone, which Ishielu is one. Nworie, lauded the Council Chairman for his excellent leadership qualities which had manifested in the modest achievements across the local government.
The Zonal Party Chairman called on the LG and Ward Executive members of the party in Ishielu Local Government Area to rise and get ready to work in favour of the party come 2023, adding that Gov Umahi has done well by connecting Ebonyi State to the centre through his defection to APC. He charged them to remain supportive of the party and its leaders at all levels expressing the readiness of party to synergize with the Local Government level and critical stakeholders in ensuring a landslide Victory for the party come 2023.
In their good will messages, the State Deputy Chairman of the party, Hon Mrs Euphemia Nwali, the State Woman Leader, Hon Mrs Queendaline Nwigwe , the State Youth Leader, Prince Ogbonnaya Alo, the Zonal Youth Leader, Com Enyi Franklin Nkemjika, the leader, Ishielu legislative council Hon Onu Cynthia among others appreciated the LG and Ward Executive of the party in the council Area for coming to the meeting in their numbers. They all expressed satisfaction with the excellent leadership of Engr David Nweze Umahi and chief Stanley Okoro Emegha's Leadership style in the party stressing that APC remains the best party for the state and Nigeria in general.
In his vote of thanks, the secretary of APC in Ishielu Local Government Council, Mr Christian Aleke commended the Zonal Chairman and his team for the show of solidarity, assuring them that Ishielu will be give hundred percent votes to the party come 2023 general election.
He prayed God to lead safely back home.
