... Call For Judicial Scrutiny of The Judgment

Youth Leaders of the All Progressives Congress APC, in the five South East State have concluded plans to stage a mega solidarity rally in Ebonyi state, to their grievances and total rejection of the Abuja Federal High Court ruling which purportedly ordered the removal of Governor David Umahi and his Deputy, Dr Kelechi Igwe from office.
In a statement endorsed by Ebonyi state youth leader, Comrade Aloh Ogbonnaya Prince, called for judicial scrutiny of the said Judgement.
Comrade Aloh said;
"I have the mandate of entire South East APC Youths, to convey our total rejection and dissatisfaction over the March 8, judgment delivered by Justice Inyang Ekwo of Abuja Federal High, which purportedly ordered for the removal of Ebonyi State Governor, Engr David Nweze Umahi and his Deputy, Dr Kelechi Eric Igwe from office respectively.
"We wish to unequivocally, express our solidarity with the Governor and people of Ebonyi State in general and wish to state as follows:
"That we are pleased and utterly, satisfied with the performance, achievements and developmental strides of the Governor, Engr Dave Nweze Umahi, spread across the 13 Local Government Areas of Ebonyi State.
"Though, we are however disturbed by the antics of some elements based in Abuja and those who belong to the PDP political party, who are hell bent on distracting the smooth running of Ebonyi State Govenment and hence attempting to ruin the peace and tranquility existing here, but we have absolute confidence in our judiciary to ensure that Justice is served in the matter.
"We cannot therefore stand akimbo while these destructive elements whose track records are well known ruin Ebonyi State.
"We condemn vehemently the action of these people who have taken their fights to an Abuja court to canvass for the removal of the performing Governor and chairman, South East Governor's Forum, Engr Chief David Umahi and his deputy from office for the reason of crossing from a moribund and a crisis ridden PDP to APC which has a great Leader President Muhammadu Buhari. A move which is to emancipate the lgbo race.
"That we will resist with every means available, those people who are guided by inordinate ambitions are employing every form of blackmail and fake information to cause mayhem in Ebonyi State
"That we have noted also their ignoble intention to distort a long agreed gubernatorial zoning arrangement in Ebonyi state which will resist at all cost and with all available means.
"While they have their right to use legal means to pursue their ambitions they are warned not to visit the state with the mayhem of the past which memories are still with us.
"We appeal to every Ebonyian to remain calm and go about their lawful businesses,ignore fake social media stories and pray for Peace.
"We commend the Governor, Engr David Umahi, for the maturity display so far, urging him not to be distracted by the infractions of the enemies of the state, but remain focused in executing his people oriented projects and programmes in Ebonyi State.
"We urge the youths to continue to maintain the peace which our peace loving Governor, Engr David Umahi have worked hard to enthrone in the state, but warn detractors to refrain from provocative ultrances as no one has the monopoly of violence".
