2023: NANS Petitions Gov. Umahi To Vie For Nigeria President

The National Association of Nigerians Students (NANS) Zone B, Southeast stakeholders have petitioned Governor David Umahi of Ebonyi State to contest for Nigeria president come 2023 general election.

The student body handed over the petition to the Governor at his Uburu resident on Monday, during a New year homage.

The leader of the group and the acting Deputy Coordinator, NANS Zone B SouthEast/JCC Chairman Ebonyi State, Comr. Oko Ewa Chukwumeijem said that Governor David Umahi has set an unequal developmental strides in the state, hence the need to replicate same at the national level.
On his part, the  Ebonyi State (NANS  CPC REP)  Comr. Okoro Joshua Offor, lauded Governor Umahi's achievements in the last six years on the saddle and urged him to hearken to the Clarion call of the students to contest for the Nigeria president come 2023, assuring him of the total support of the NANS in actualizing the objective, which he said, is for the good and unity of Nigeria.
The visit had in attendance; Comr Nwafor Joshua, (Candidate for NANS Zone B), Okoro Williams Toochukwu (Member NANS Zone B CPC Advisory Committee), Comr. Wilson Umahi (Senate President SUG FUNAI), Comr. Eze Chukwunonso Nweze (SUG President Elect, Akanu Ibiam Federal Poly), Comr. Onwe Chukwunonso Joshua (Member Representing Ebonyi North in Nigeria Youth Parliament), Comr. Otu Kelechi and Comr. Eze Paul Ituma ( former JCC Chairman).
Othere were Dr. Comr. Onu-Njoku Charles, Comr. Okereke Emmanuel, Okpeye Chibuike (Chairman EBSU Media House), Comr. Kelvin Ituma, Comr. Prince Alex Mgbada, Comr. Nwazunkwu Lazarus, Comr. John Mikel (JCC PRO), Comr. Okoro Dennis (SUG President) and Comr. Chigbo Nwite. 
Umahi Anthony (FUSA President), Ezebudo obianuju (Vice President FUSA), Idika Francis C, Okoro Gladys, Ajah ThankGod N and Rebecca Amarachi were equally part of the visit.
