The APC special leaders on Thursday, at the partys' Secretariat, called on Ebonyi State Governor, Engr David Umahi to make himself available to contest for Nigeria president come 2023, stating that Umahi is the only man that has the right leadership acumen and uniting force to lead Nigeria to prosperity.
In a meeting Convened by the state APC Special leader, Deacon Uchenna Adum, the group expressed satisfaction with level of achievements recorded by Governor David Umahi's administration and assured him of the support of the members of the group in ensuring that he gets to Abuja come 2023.
Speaking during the meeting, the state Special leader, Deacon Uchenna Adum said, "His Excellency has done well. There is nobody that can do it better than him. In infrastructure, in health, in youth empowerment, look at the Christmas largesse he has distributed to the people in state and so many other landmark achievements in the state, for these reason, we the physically challenged persons in Ebonyi State are declaring our total support for His Excellency come 2023 to actualize his dream".
Adum, urged the leaders to reach out to other members in their various and support for the Governor ahead of the 2023 general election.
"I want to charge once again to go to your various Local Government Areas and teach out to our members. There are various ways you can reach out. You can make calls, you can tell someone to tell someone about the good works of His Excellency. Any one you cannot do, place me on call and I will ensure, we get it done. Our assurance to His Excellency is that we will work hard to take him to Aso Rock Villa come 2023".
The state APC Special leader said, the essence of the meeting was to familiarize themselves and chat a course for their welfare and development, urging them not to look down on themselves but rather see themselves as people differently empowered.
Speaking during the meeting, Mr Isaiah Ogonna Nwokora, leader of special person in Ikwo, Chief Orakeze Emmanuel from Izzi among others appreciated the Governor for the opportunity given to them to serve the party and state, assuring him and the party of greater commitment to the activities of the party in ensuring Victory for the party come 2023.
The meeting had in attendance, special Leaders from the 13 Local Government Areas of the state.
