Stakeholders and leaders of Okposhi Eshe autonomous Community in Ohaukwu Local Government Area, have eulogized the dispute resolution mechanism prowess of Ebonyi State special security Consultant, Chief Stanley Okoro Emegha.
The Stakeholders made this known on Monday, at the conference hall, ministry of internal security, border peace and Conflict resolution, old Government House, Abakaliki, while on a mission to resolve the lingering leadership impasse bedeviling the community.
Chief Emegha urged them to eschew unnecessary bickering and squabbling over leadership, noting that it is only God that ordained leaders and not by muscle.
He recounted the negative narratives the state had experienced as a result of Leadership tussle and urged them to learn from such ugly experiences and retrace their steps for the over all good of their community and the state at large.
The Special Security Consultant admonished them to make sacrifices for peace as remained the greatest virtues of a leader, noting that Governor David Umahi has sacrificed much for the sake of peace and development of the state.
Pastor Emmanuel Onwe,Hon Emeje Emmanuel, Hon Sunday Okwor Nwali, Chief Everstus Okpoto and Comrade Chumkwma Onwe among others pledged commitment for peace, having been consumed by the unbiased manner Chief Emegha approached the issue.
The matter was however, adjourned to Thursday, 9th December, 2021 for further deliberation.
