2023: Gbajabiamila Endorses Ebonyi Reps Member For Second Term.

Speaker, Federal House of Representatives, Hon Femi Gbajabiamila has endorsed the Member representing Ezza South/Ikwo Federal Constituency, Hon Chinedu Ogah, for the second term in office.

The Speaker spoke during the 5th matriculation ceremony of Blessed Martins International Institute of Science and Technology (BMIIS), Ohatekwe Amagu, Ikwo Local Government Area of Ebonyi State, held at the weekend.

Gbajabiamila who commended the people of the constituency for electing Ogah to represent them at the Green Chambers, urged them to re-elect him in 2023 to continue the good works.

The Speaker disclosed that Ogah is one of his strongest backbone in the House, from the South East zone.

Represented by Hon Nnanna Igbokwe, the Speaker lauded Ogah for establishing the institution to empower his people and assured that he would partner the institution to advance the course of young people.

He commended the school for naming ultra-modern laboratory/ICT complex after him.

Governor David Umahi who was represented by the State Commissioner for Education, Dr Sunday Nwangele, lauded Ogah and the management of the institution for setting the pace in his Administration’s determination to improve the standard of education in the State.

He assured that his administration would continue to support and give the institution and other private institutions in the State a conducive environment to operate.

Earlier, the chairman of the occasion and Speaker of Ebonyi State House of Assembly, Hon Francis Nwifuru, lauded the speedy growth and development being witnessed in the State, even as he thanked Ogah for his commitment in empowering his people.

He donated the sum of N1m naira for immediate commencement of work on a school block which the management of the institution proposed to name after him.

The Proprietor of the Institution, Mrs. Marry Chinedu Ogah and the Rector Mr. Idris Umar Farouq, charged the matriculating students to study hard and shun cultism, consumption of hard drugs and other social vices, as they constituted serious offence in the school.

Also speaking, Hon Ogah announced his readiness to ensure that students from the institution were given employment on graduation, adding that he would never be tired of doing those things that would better the lots of his people.
