Ohaozara Council Boss Donates Motorcycles To Local Education Committee

The Executive Chairman, Ohaozara Local Government Area, Princess  Nkechinyere Iyioku, on Tuesday, at the Council Headquarters, Obiozara donated brand new motorcycles to the member of Education Committee in the council area.

The council Chairman said, the essence was to motivate and boost their morale in Educational service delivery, noting that she is satisfied with their performance since Inauguration on the 26th day of July, 2021. Princess Iyioku stated further that the successful Planning hosting of Ohaozara Educational and Health summit on the 29th July, 2021, was a great feet by the Committee.

The Ebonyi State ALGON Chairman lauded the aggressive monitoring and supervisions of primary and secondary schools in the area, even those at remotest part of the state, by the Committee, saying, it is worthy of appreciation.
Princess Nkechinyere Iyioku, who is also the ALGON National treasurer, appreciated the Committee for all they have been doing and as well encourage them to keep up the good work, as the motorcycle given to them was to motivate them to even serve better. 

According to her, " Firstly, I would like to appreciate and thank our great leader and father, His Excellency Engr Dr David Nweze Umahi, for his wisdom and leadership excellence in re-writing all the wrong rhetorics ascribed to this state for ages; with the Educational Sector inclusive.
“Also, I want to commend you, the Education Committee of Ohaozara, your efforts and sacrifices thus far in selflessly accepting to serve and discharge the responsibility bestowed upon your shoulders by the government of our  dear Governor, whose vision, love, passion and shear determination to revamp and reposition the Educational System of the State for excellence, is second to none.

“Today history is being made in Ohaozara, most especially in our Education Sector. The little donation we all will be receiving today, is a confirmation to us all that the government of His Excellency, Engr David Nweze Unahi, is a government that appreciates and rewards good work and productive service delivery. While also appreciating us, I would also like to take this time to remind us all of the wise words, which says "To whom much is given, much is expected".
“This little gift is not reward for all you have done for your people, but should be seen as a tool which  would enable you to even go extra mile in serving our people, so that the future and dream and desire from our Schools will be totally realized. Once again, keep up the good work", she said.

On his part, the Education  Secretary of the Council - Mr Francis Ovia, appreciated Governor David Umahi for finding them worthy to serve in such a time as this, and also express gratitude to the Executive Chairman of the Council for the gifts of motorcycles to the Committee Members, while also pledging on behalf of his members to put in their best in the discharge of their duties as God keeps enabling them.
