Ebonyi ALGON Chairman Tasks Ebubeagu Security On Diligence, Team Spirit

The Executive Chairman of Ohaozara Local Government Council, Hon. Mrs Nkechinyere Iyioku has applauded the South East Security outfit, "Ebubeagu", Ebonyi State Command for their unrelenting war against crime in the state.

Princess Nkechinyere Iyioku stated this on Tuesday at Obiozara, the council headquarter during a security summit she organized for the Ebubeagu Security operatives in the council Area.

She reminded them that Security remains an integral catalyst for development of any society, urging them to show greater commitment to their job to guarantee the security of life and property of the people in the area and beyond.
Princess Iyioku, who is also the ALGON Chairman, Ebonyi State, appreciated the Chairman, South East Governor's forum and Ebonyi State Governor, Engr  David Umahi for prioritizing the security of life and property of the people of the state and most especially, the formation of Ebubeagu in the south East, noting that it has helped in great measures, in the reduction of crimes in the state 

She called for closer collaboration with other security agencies and shurn unnecessary rivalry among different Security agencies in the state, stressing that security is a delicate task which requires the collective and  concerted effort of every players. 

She charged the security operatives to rise up and wage war against the menace of drug abuse which is currently destroying the youths in their numbers.

"Today, I want to specially charge us all to develop the spirit of steadfastness and diligence in the discharge of our duty as security men. It's also very important that we henceforth begin to play active roles  in this Campaign against drug abuse which is becoming rampant among youths in our societies today. Let them know that drug abuse kills and does not pay in anyway whatsoever. Be alive to your duty. Do not be found wanting at your duty post.
Once again, I implore us all to keep up the good works, handle your works with a greater sense of seriousness  and never lose focus", she added.
