APC State Congresses; Stanley Okoro Emegha's Chairmanship Aspiration Gains More Support

Ahead of the forthcoming State Congress of All Progressives Congress APC, more groups and individuals have continued to throw their weight behind the candidacy of Chief Stanley Okoro Emegha for the State Chairman of APC in Ebonyi State. A group known as Ebonyi APC Progressives Youths under the leadership of Comrade Godwin Eze, in a press release in Abakaliki, noted that Chief Emegha is tested, trusted and is generally accepted by the people, hence their resolve to canvas support for him to emerge as substantive Chairman of APC in Ebonyi State.

The group commended the State Governor, Engr. David Nweze Umahi for his wisdom in appointing Chief Stanley Okoro Emegha as caretaker Chairman of the party. The Ebony APC Progressives Youths revealed that the unity and successes recorded within these periods was as a result of the cordial relationship between Emegha, Governor Umahi and stakeholders of the party, which has deepened internal democracy and all inclusiveness in Ebonyi APC family.

"We make bold to say that with Chief Stanley Okoro Emegha as Chairman of APC in Ebonyi, we shall be sure of winning all the elections in the State in 2023. He is a humble servant leader who reads the mind of the people and believes in due process.

"Our support is to Chief Stanley Okoro Emegha come October 16th State Congress of our party, the APC. He has done well as Commissioner for Internal Security, boarder peace and conflict resolution, he has done well within the period he served as caretaker Chairman, and we are sure he will do better when he becomes the authentic chairman of our great party" the concluded.

Recall that  APC State Congress earlier slated for 2nd October, 2021 was shifted by the party's national leadership to 16th October, 2021. Many groups and individuals including the only national Assembly member from APC in Ebonyi State have endorsed Chief Stanley Okoro Emegha as their preferred candidate for the State APC Chairmanship position.
