The Honourable Commissioner for Information and State Orientation in Ebonyi, Barr Orji Uche Orji has called for the immortalization of Governor David Nweze Umahi's virtues as he clocked 58 years old.
The Commissioner made this call in a release which was forwarded to NATIONAL PANEL few days ahead of the Governor's 58th birthday anniversary.
He described Governor Umahi as an achiever per excellence.
"Immortalizing the virtues of an achiever per excellence as we celebrate the birthday of Governor Umahi at 58," the release hinted.
The release further read: "There comes a moment in the lifetime of a people when a charismatic leader is born, richly endowed with divine leadership gifts and driven by a commitment for service to provide transformational leadership that will change the narrative of his people.
"This is the case with the Governor of Ebonyi State, His Excellency, Engr. Chief David Nweze Umahi, FNSE, FNATE (Akubaraoha). Born on the 25th day of July, 1963 at Nigeria’s most populous salt community, Uburu, Governor Umahi has attained enviable track records and accomplishments that are worthy of celebration.
"He has been a divine instrument for the actualization of the dreams of the Founding Fathers of Ebonyi State as exemplified in the virtues of his leadership principles and the core values of his Divine Mandate administration, including his hallmarks in human and infrastructural development which have made Ebonyi State to be truly the 'Salt of the Nation, his unwavering commitment to positive change in the psyches and lives of the good people of Ebonyi State and his exceptional devotion to the ideals of the Founding Fathers, and for which we give God all the glory.
"We therefore owe humanity a duty to celebrate the virtues of this colossus, rare statesman and pillar of national unity, His Excellency, Engr. Umahi as he marks glorious accomplishments at the age of 58 years.
"While congratulating our God-sent leader in grand style, we request men and women of goodwill to roll out their drums and celebrate the new narrative witnessed by all and sundry in the state and to offer our best wishes, warm felicitations and fervent prayers to the Chief Servant of Ebonyi State and Governor with a clear difference as he marks 58th birthday on 25th of July, 2021.
