Following the inauguration of over 59 projects and employment of over 200 people into different government ministries, departments and agencies with empowerment programmes by the Member representing Ezza South/Ikwo Federal Constituency, Hon Chinedu Ogah within a 18 month in office, personalities from all walks of life have commended him.
NATIONAL PANEL reports that the Grand Finale for the commissioning of the projects, empowerment and thanksgiving ceremony by the Federal lawmaker, Ogah was on Friday held at his country home, Item Amegu Ikwo in Ebonyi State.
Various speakers during the event widely extolled Hon Chinedu Ogah and described the feats as unimaginable.
According to the Governor of Ebonyi State, Engr. David Nweze Umahi, represented by the Secretary to the State Government, Dr Kenneth Igwe Ugbala, the constituency projects attracted and executed by Ogah remains laudable and however, urged other political leaders to emulate the gestures.
"Let me tell you that Chinedu Ogah has already set a standard, because, as from now if anybody wants to seek your vote to go to Abuja as your representative, the question is, will you do like him? If not, the dream is dead at arrival.
"I want to thank you for these great feats, the empowerment of our people and so many, you have given jobs, and we pray God will continue to bless you and give you all the enablement to thrive in your leadership saddle," he said.
On his part, the Speaker House of Representatives, Olufemi Gbajabiamila who led his co-lawmakers in the Green Chambers to honour the event commended the Lawmaker, saying he has extremely performed well.
He thanked Ogah for the commissioning of the projects, empowerment of his constituents with thanksgiving to God alongside his 45th birthday anniversary and described the event as a memorable one.
Gbajabiamila who was represented by his Deputy - Ahmed Idris, said that Ogha has performed wonderfully well, even as a first timer at the National Assembly, with so much proves of the dividends of good representation to showcase to his constituents.
He disclosed that that Ebonyi and Bayelsa have been relatively backward amongst other states in terms of Federal employment, and commended Chinedu Ogah for securing employment for over 200 of his constituents in less than two years in office.
He thanked all the constituents for their continuous support to Ogah and urged them to keep it up for a better and positive representation.
Gbajabiamaila equally promised to keep supporting the lawmaker in his quest to make better the lives of his constituents as well as to influence positive legislations for the nation at large.
It was gathered that the Ebonyi rep-member in five days to his birthday anniversary and the Grand Finale had gone round across the villages, communities, wards, development Centres and LGAs in his Constituency to commission the projects.
It was also gathered that various empowerment schemes such as distribution of 30, 000 bags of fertilizer, sienna vehicles, fleet of motorcycles, tricycles and other equipments, cash gifts and cheques were given to Ikwo/Ezza constituents by Chinedu Ogah and still pledged to keep making them proud.
