A female Police officer attached with Central Police Station, WSGT Charity Agwu has reportedly picked a missing wallet and handed over to the owner in Abakaliki, the Capital of Ebonyi State.

In a chart with the officer,  she told our correspondent that the wallet was picked on the road  in a penultimate weekend in Abakaliki metropolis.

She said the wallet contained a huge amount of money, Automatic Teller Machine (ATM) and other valuable items.

According to her, she searched the name on the ATM in a  Facebook where she charted the owner, Mr. Leonard Nwamini to meet her and collect the wallet.

Agwu  pledged to continue to discharge her duties with fear of God and called others to do same  for a better society.

However, countless number of people have continued to pour an encomium to the gallant officer for her good deed both offline and online even as she has been described as 'the best officer in Ebonyi State ever.'

One of them who could not hide his feeling, Mr Anthony Nkwegu thanked the officer and prayed God to replenish her in hundredfolds while praying for her promotion, longevity of life, good health among others and called others to emulate from her.

NATIONAL PANEL learnt that the police officer hailed from Okagwe, Ohafia in Abia State while the wallet owner came from Izzi Local Government Area of Ebony State.
