Today 22nd day of June 2021 the Ebonyi Commissioner for Capital City and Urban Development, Barr. Onyekachi Nwebonyi, Commissioned fifty desks at Agbaja Unuphu Community primary school in the capital city of the state, Abakaliki.
The Commissioner during the commissioning of the desks in Agbaja unphu explained that he visited the school and saw that the pupils were not having desk for learning and he decided to provide them with fifty (50) desks and also promised that he would do more.
Nwebonyi commended the Governor of Ebonyi State, Dave Umahi, for his good works and noted that Umahi has delivered on his campaign promises beyond the expectations of the people.
The Commissioner stressed that the Capital City will continue to stand for Governor Umahi even on future political ambitions when he would be rounding up his second term in office.
He said: “Your Excellency, you have delivered on your campaign promises beyond expectations to the degree that even your critics commend you.
"Your infrastructural magic touch, as your critics describe it, has won the admiration of people, especially outside Ebonyi State."
He explained that Governor David Umahi was eminently qualified to run for the exalted position of the President in 2023 and urge Nigeria to give him support.
