Fraud: No job recruitment going on at AE-FUTHA - Mgt

BY VICTOR NWEGEDE

The management of Alex Ekwueme Federal University Teaching Hospital, Abakaliki (AE-FUTHA) has alerted general public to be wary of some unscrupulous elements going about defrauding unsuspecting people of their money in the name of securing job appointment for them in the institution.

This was contained in a statement endorsed by Mr. Callistus Okonkwo, the Director Administration for the Management of the institution.

Okonkwo in the statement, said the fraudulent activity has come to the notice of the AE-FUTHA management who frowned at  fronting the name of the Chief Medical Director by unscrupulous elements as their agent to defraud the general public.

"The worst of all, is that they front the name of the Chief Medical Director (CMD) of the Hospital, Dr. Emeka Onwe Ogah, as his agent.

"The Management is by this notice alerting the general Public that there is no job recruitment going on at AEFUTHA  much more asking people to bring money, as recruitment is always advertised in National Dailies," he said.

The Director warned general public to never fall prey to those criminal minded elements, saying that, the management of the institution would not give a hitch to discuss any matter concerning bribering for job appointment in the institution.

"The general public is therefore warned in their own interest never fall prey to those wolves as they may be taking a risk that they alone will be liable to.

"The Management also shall not be in a position to discuss any matter concerning giving out of money to anyone, as they never asked anybody to collect money on behalf of the CMD or any other member of the top Management. Please be warned," Okonkwo added in the statement.
