Eid-el-Fitr: Ogbaga celebrates with Muslims, advocates for peaceful co-existence

An Ex-Minister of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Chief Godwin Ogbaga has felictated with the Muslims celebrating Eid-el-Fitr this year and charged them to continue to pray for peace and unity of the country.

This was contained in Chief Ogbaga's goodwill message to Muslim community for the Eid-el-Fitr celebration, which was made available to the NATIONAL PANEL in Abakalki.


The former Minister prayed that the joyous moment did not just cease because of the festival.

He therefore, charged the entire Muslims accross the world to embrace 'the aura that accompanies the celebration.'

The Elder Statesman in Ebonyi State noted that the season has called for all to support the peace, unity and development of the country.

 He said,'there is no nation achieve development in atmosphere of rancour and bitterness,' except when peace and unity becomes the order the day.

He also prayed God to restore the unity of the nation during and after the season of Eid-el-Fitr.
