He said, "it is the fulfilment of the promise the state government made to the security agencies, you know this Effium and Ezza Effium crisis, there are too many hinterlands that vehicles cannot access.

"And as such the security agencies made appeal to the governor of the state to procure some motorcycles for them, we procured 100 pieces of the motorcycles."

The 100 pieces of motorcycles were distributed across the security agencies in the state, 30 pieces for the police, 20 for the army and 50 of them were given to  the state owned Neighborhood Watch Vigilantee group.

"For weeks now and with the deployment of the troops, the  area has been calmed, and the deputy governor have been visiting there on two days basis, with me and other security Chiefs and as such, we have relative peace there for now," he said.

On the counter reactions trailing alleged herders' attack on Ngbo people in Ohaukwu council area of the state, he maintained that the attacks on the community were not herdsmen but suspects from Agila community of Ado Local Government Area of Benue state.
