Goodwill Message ON THE OCCASION OF THE 2021 INTERNATIONAL WORKERS' DAY
As workers in Ebonyi state join their counterparts all over the world to celebrate this year's International Workers Day, I Comrade (Mrs) Jennifer O. Adibe-Nwafor, the Special Assistant to the Ebonyi State Governor on Inter-Party and Labour Matters, on behalf of my family and my office, most warmly felicitate with the entire Ebonyi State workforce on this year's edition of Workers' Day.
Workers' Day, as we all know, is a day, set aside by the United Nations
to commemorate the historic struggles and achievements made by workers and labour movements over the years, across the globe.
As we mark this year's anniversary of the occasion, may I seize this opportunity to commend all Ebonyi workers for their great contributions towards nation building, particular to our dear State, Ebonyi, under the distinguished leadership of our God-given visionary governor, His Excellency, Engr. Chief David Nweze Umahi, Enyi Ndi Oru 1.
May I also use this medium to reiterate the state government's unwavering commitment towards providing a better welfare condition for all Ebonyi workers, and indeed, a more glorious future for all Ebonyians.
I therefore urge the state workforce to continue to keep faith with the state government, remain resolute and committed to their duties, and continue to shun all negative tendenceis that degrade the sanctity of the workforce in our dear State.
Let us all continue to support our Workers friendly governor, Engr. Chief David Nweze Umahi in his quest for building the Ebonyi state that we all will be proud of.
